Drool-Worthy Weekly: Wallpaper

“Wallpaper [is] ‘hip’ and the ‘latest passion’ of interior designers.” – Time Magazine

“If you are looking for drama, texture, warmth and personality,
wallpaper is the way to go.” – Associated Press

“Wallpaper is back and it’s better than ever.” – Better Homes & Gardens
Are you hung up on wallpaper? When you hear the word, do you wince while thinking of your grandmother’s dated prints? Wallpaper manufacturers have reported sales higher than ever recently, and we’d love to show you why these wallcoverings are wowing people just like you.

Osborne and Little is one of our favorite manufacturers, so I’ve selected some prints from their latest collections. The photos above show their wallcoverings on display in Paris.

Wallpaper works beautifully with fabrics that pull out the tones and textures while solid upholstery lets the walls steal the show!

And here are some images from our own portfolio:

These relaxing neutral rooms feature tone-on-tone papers. The on the left is from Thibaut, and the pattern on the right is by Stroheim.

Brittany selected a paper from Cole & Son for her powder room in the ASID Showhouse, and Judy and I selected the wallpaper on the right (by Shand Kydd) for a client’s laundry room recently.
Wallpaper has certainly come a long way over the years, and it is a wonderful way to make a statement in any room!
