Recent Projects: Check Out the View from 222 Glenwood

Shortly after the condos at 222 Glenwood were completed, one of our client’s purchased a corner unit – Judy and I were excited to work in one of the most popular places for downtown living!

The condo functions as a downtown gathering space, and it is a place where friends can stay when they come into town. So, our clients wanted to take full advantage of each room. The sectional sofa, with room to seat a crowd, also houses a fold-out bed. A pair of ottomans (not shown) provide additional seating when needed.

The double window in the living room was placed awkwardly off-center, but traversing striped silk window treatments cover the whole wall and help the window to feel perfectly positioned. Almost like theater curtains, the draperies pull closed to darken the room for movie nights or for guests who want to sleep in.

In the dining area, we selected a table with two removable leaves that seats from 6 to 12 people! A pair of floor mirrors enlarge the space by reflecting the light that comes in from the balcony.

This two-bedroom condo can actually sleep eight comfortably – the den also has a sleeper sofa! This space serves as a quiet study for our client’s busy teenagers. The coffee table raises to function as a desk.

The den has the best view of downtown! We placed a funky chair just beside the window to finish out the seating arrangement and capture the urban vibe of the surroundings.
