My favorite restaurant in the triangle is Sitti. Located in downtown Raleigh, it features traditional Lebanese cuisine. The restaurant itself is interesting, with a casual yet sophisticated feel. I always ask to be seated in the outdoor courtyard which is hidden behind the main dining room – the low key setting is so relaxing! It would be the prefect place to host a party!
I tend to order something different each time I visit. Recently I went with my oldest children (13 & 9 – pictured above). We ordered the sampler platter which comes with 5 items; each was fabulous, and my kids loved it! (I wanted to ensure a return visit with them.) My favorites were the Chicken Shawarma and the Kibbee, but I have yet to find something that I don’t like. The homemade pita bread comes out piping hot. It was also a big hit with my kids – no one asked for ketchup, butter or even Nutella!
Treat yourself to a unique dining experience at Sitti! I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the reasonable pricing in addition to the staff who are always genuine and prompt.
